Utah New Works Theatre Project is pleased to announce OPEN MIC THEATRE! Join us downtown at the Provo City Library for a delightful evening.

The event is FREE to the public.

PLAYWRIGHTS, new and experienced alike!

You are invited to bring an original script that is no more than ten minutes in length and all-ages-appropriate. This can be either a short play or an excerpt from a longer play. Please come prepared with a printed copy for each character as well as one for a narrator who will read stage directions.

ACTORS and anyone else interested in reading parts!

You are invited to bring your best cold-reading voice and

check your stage fright at the door. You will be among friends.

AUDIENCE MEMBERS!

You are invited to bring an open heart along with a date, your pals, your family, strangers you meet on the street, and anyone else who's able to be relatively well-behaved for a couple hours and enjoy an entertaining evening of local talent.

PLEASE NOTE:

Those wishing to participate as playwrights and/or actors should arrive early.

We will read no more than TEN plays, and the program will be filled

on a first-come, first-served basis.
